Holly Thompson started her adult life as a cocktail waitress in a seedy portside pub in Key Largo, Florida.
She found she didn't enjoy the entitled rich assholes that frequented her pub, usually on vacation or chartering one of the luxury yachts moored nearby. One night, she spied on a tall-masted sailing yacht tied to the pier and decided to upgrade her lot in life. She'd heard stories of the massive tips the stewardesses made by caring for the guests and serving copious cocktails.
She stopped by her simple studio and packed everything she owned, including all her money—$432.45 rolled up and stuffed in the bottom of her duffle bag. The harbor was dark and quiet when she slipped past the snoozing security guard and crept down the dock. She climbed aboard the stern, stowing her duffle in a small compartment, then crawled on and shut the hatch. She settled to sleep, wondering what exotic island she'd landed on when the ship made port.
Little did she know her life would change dramatically when she got caught, and the boat's captain offered her a deal.
